The New Zealand Symposium of Gastronomy takes place in Hamilton Gardens from January 31-February 2.

Organisers are seeking papers and presentations on the theme: ‘Gardens and Gastronomy’. Emeritus Prof. Helen Leach ONZM FRSNZ will offer a public lecture entitled ‘Re-creating (or Re-catering?) Katherine Mansfield’s The Garden Party’, at 4.30pm on February 1 at the Waikato Museum Auditorium.
